While the flood was not as high this year, it has once again been a wild ride through the northern wilderness
Vumbura - Being so brightly coloured the Lilac Breasted Roller is probably one of the most sought after birds to try and get a photo of. Fortunately it is also resident and fairly common. Unfortunately they do not always perch in the right spot which makes it fun to try and get a good snap. The real challenge is to get it taking off or landing as then the colours are incredible.
